In a recent interview, Kevin Feige revealed that Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is set to travel the world in the sequel to 2017’sSpider-Man: Homecoming.
While many do not know what will be happening afterAvengers4, a recentinterviewwith Kevin Fiege has revealed that theUntitledSpider-ManSequelis set to officially start phase four of theMCUand will to span the globe:
“We start filming early July, we film in London. We shotthe firstfilm in Atlanta. And we shoot a lot of films in London but there’s another reason we’re shooting in London which is, yes, Spidey, of course, will spend some time in New York, but he’ll spend some time in other parts of the globe.”
Feige wouldn’t expand on as to why Spider-Man would be traveling around the world. However, he did reveal theAvengersmovies to come out in the next few years will set the movie up, similar to howCaptain America: Civil Warset upSpider-Man: Homecoming:
“The way Civil War and the fact that he went to Leipzig Airport and then has to go back to school, informed Homecoming, the two Avengers films that precede [the sequel] will greatly inform, probably even more so, the next movie.”

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
