Kingpin’s abilities in Supervive emphasize ambush tactics, with high-damage combos that disrupt enemy formations.
Kingpin is an interceptor with close-range attacks, several AoE (Area-Of-Effect) abilities, and high single-target damage potential. Although Kingpin is unlocked as a defaultcharacter, playing him competitively is anything but easy.

The best strategy for Kingpin is a guerrilla playstyle, flanking enemies and using Abyssal Grasp to pull them out of position. Approaching from the right angle will allow Kingpin to make use of his ‘Feed the Beast’ passive, which grants50% increased backstab damage. Let’s take a closer look at how the abyssal character’sabilitieswork and factor into this playstyle.
How To Use Kingpin’s Abilities in Supervive
Abyssal Grasp (RMB)
Abyssal Grasp is a slow-moving attack thatpasses through terrainand pulls in the first entity hit, friend or foe. The target isbriefly groundedat the end of the ability. The Abyssal Grasp is a devastating tool at Kingpin’s disposal, and will keep enemy teams on their toes because of its range and ability to pass through terrain.
Abyssal Grasp is Kingpin’s bread and butter. It should ideally begin engagements bydragging an enemy hunter out of positionand quickly focus-fire them down with the help of teammates or a slam-ultimate combo. Shark around an enemy team while remaining out of vision range, and look for the perfect opportunity to harpoon a hunter and eliminate them.
The ability also has the added functionality of pulling teammates away from danger. Additionally, itcan grab opponent wispsin its AoE and reel them in to be destroyed.

Brute Dash (L Shift)
Kingpin has two dash abilities. The regular dash is performed by pressing Left Shift while Kingpin is on the ground. Pressing L-shift while in the air (not gliding) performs an air dash, which covers a greater distance. Both dash abilities have separate cooldowns, essentially giving Kingpin two charges of dash.
Primal Slam (Q)
Primal Slam is a close-range attack thatstuns struck enemiesand deals significant damage. There are two main use cases for Primal Slam. The first is tochain it after Abyssal Graspand follow it up with the ultimate. Alternatively, you’re able to double dash to close the distance to an enemy hunter anduse Primal Slam to start a combo chain.
Slugwave (R)
Kingpin’s ultimate ability, Slugwave, deals massive damage to enemies caught within its wide AoEand applies Anti-Heal. The ideal way to use Slugwave is to chain it into a combo after Primal Slam or Abyssal Grasp, utilizing their brief stuns to deal maximum damage to the target. It can also punish a bunched-up group of enemies upon reaching them after double-dashing.
