Suri Cruise,who is the famous offspring of ex-couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes has largely been protected from the limelight after her parents’ divorce. Following the estrangement, the star daughter was occasionally seen in public sporting fashionable designer outfits as she accompanied her mother on casual strolls. Now at 17 years, glimpses of Suri show that she is a doppelgänger of Katie Holmes. Unfortunately, according to sources, her relationship with her father Tom Cruise is almost non-existent.
“Suri does not know her father anymore and she has not spent time with him in a decade. She does not go to see his movies and he has no part in her life.”
Following Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ breakup, it seems that Holmes has decided to shield Suri from the unforgiving glare of stardom to give her a more stable childhood. This involved disassociating her from Cruise, her father who has always been at the center of controversies owing to his Scientology beliefs.

Suri Cruise Hopes To Emulate Her Mother Katie Holmes
Despite leading a very private life, Suri Cruise has been seen occasionally in public. Now a teenager who is finishing school, sources say that Suri is currently in the process of taking the next step in her education with the guidance of her mother Katie Holmes.
“Suri is applying to schools all over the place, though Katie really does want her to stay in New York so they can be close to each other. Katie takes great pride in her but is also extremely overprotective.”
The Daily Mailalso reported that Suri who is supposedly interested in pursuing a career in fashion, is looking to actively apply to colleges that will offer her these opportunities. Clearly, Katie Holmes’ daughter is taking a leaf out of her mother’s book with her career path. Holmes has worked as a model and had earlier helmed her own fashion lineHolmes and Yangwhile also being an advocate for various charitable causes.
