After more than 40 years in the entertainment industry, actor Bruce Campbell has decided that it’s time to step down. On his 65th birthday, the actor announced his retirement on Twitter. Campbell shares a special bond with director Sam Raimi and his first-ever Hollywood movie was also directed by him.

Apart from his contributions to TV shows and movies, the actor also voiced various characters in many big gaming franchises likeCall of DutyandDead by Daylight. The actor’s love for the horror genre is no secret. The actor has been organizing the Bruce Campbell Horror Film Festival every year since 2014.

ActorBruce Campbell, who is best known for his contributions to the horror genre, announced his retirement on his 65th birthday. The actor gained popularity when he starred as Ash Williams in frequent collaborator, Sam Raimi’sEvil Deadhorror franchise. The actor wrote on Twitter,
“Okay, so I’m 65 today. Time to retire, I guess. Thanks for watching!”

The news left many fans heartbroken but he surely left a lasting impression on the entertainment industry. He starred in various famous TV shows, movies and voiced many characters in video games. His hard work has earned him several prestigious awards including two Saturn awards for Best Actor on a Television Series.
