Overpowered Descendant You’re Not Using – The First Descendant
Sharen is the only Descendant who can use stealth (active camouflage) to complete Outpost missions, giving additional infiltration rewards. While her combat power might be weaker than that of other Descendants, her utility in Infiltration completion is overpowered because these rewards are only given to her, and she obtains rare patterns used for Ultimate Weapons. Simply put, without Sharen, you will have to spend an inordinate amount of time running 20-minute operations vs. a 45-second infiltration. Every player in the First Descdant should consider unlocking her solely for the use of additional rewards for the Infiltration mission.
Unlocking Sharen
To unlock and play Sharen in The First Descendant, purchase her for 600 caliber from the store or craft her parts with Sharen Enhanced Cells, Sharen Stabilizer, Sharen Spiral Catalyst, and Sharen Code. Ultimate Weapon Farming
What makes Sharen an overpowered descendant is she’s the only one to gain successful infiltration rewards. For instance, if you want to obtain the Python Ultimate weapon, you will need the blueprint. There are multiple ways to obtain the blueprint, with different percentage drops and time commitments. The Dead Bride pattern 025 drops the Python Blueprint at a 6% rate, whereas the 123 Pattern, only obtained through a successful infiltration, has a 32% drop chance.
Patter 025 requests you to complete a special operation, Defend Albion Resource, with a random drop chance at various levels. This could take upwards of 30 minutes and possibly not reward any pattern. However, the 123 pattern requires a successful infiltration and clearing the boss, which can take 45 seconds or less. The pattern has a 25% chance to drop, and the mission has a one-minute cooldown, allowing frequent pattern drop chances.
Without Sharen’s overpowered stealth ability, you’re likely to spend hours to gain one pattern only to have a low drop chance, making her one of the best Descendants for pure farming.
How to Complete a Successful Infiltration
To complete an infiltration, use Sharen’s skill Active Camouflage skill and disable the operating device before you become detected. It’s best to equip modules that extend the duration of Sharen’s stealth. Moreover, you’ll want to level her up to 40 to gain the most from her skills. Typically, it would be best if you had 15 seconds or higher. Additionally, an increase in your Reactor skill duration can help add extra time to your stealth, allowing you to deactivate all devices before they are discovered. If discovered, exit the area, abort the mission, and try again.

Descendant Mods
The best modules (mods) to increase Sharen’s duration time are Maximize Duration, Skill Extension, and Battle of Stamina. With these three mods maxed, you should reach over 85% increased skill duration. This will allow you to deactivate all the devices within time to complete the infiltration. Moreover, you can slot HP Collector, Agony, increase HP, or increase DEF to help with Sharen’s lack of survivability. Below are the three most important mods for Sharen’s stealth:
Sniper Rifle
Another overpowered feature of Sharen is the buff Ambush, which is gained after using Active Camoflague. Ambush gives you a 100% increase in damage. The damage increase can be applied while firing from stealth or automatically canceling the stealth, and the buff will appear visually. You’ll have a few seconds after stealth to shoot, and it’s best to use a Sniper for the most damage in one round since it’s double damage on your next shot.
The best Sniper Rifle for Sharen to use is theAfterglow SwordUltimate weapon. Build for weak point damage, critical hit damage, critical hit rate, and one status effect like toxic or chill. Moreover, look for Firearm ATk, weak point damage, critical hit damage, and critical hit rate on weapon traits via the readjustment terminal. With this setup, you can activate stealth and one-shot most medium-level enemies and even bosses.
