With the release ofThe Witcher: Blood Originon the looming horizon, the showrunners of the show are much excited to expand on The Witcher verse. Henry Cavill portrayed the role of Geralt of Rivia in the first 2 (and the upcoming 3rd) seasons ofThe Witcher.The actor recently left the franchise which created controversies and rumors of troubles between him and showrunner Lauren Hissrich.

In an interview withCollider,the duo of Lauren Hissrich and Declan de Barra were asked various questions about their upcoming projects. The talk of Henry Cavill was inevitable as Lauren Hissrich had to answer the question regarding the actor’s controversial decision to call it quits.

When asked about the schedule differences between the newly appointed Geralt of Rivia, Liam Hemsworth, and the retired Henry Cavill, Hissrich claimed that it is“up to the powers that be”and claimed that she is excited for season 4.

“Yeah. But that is so far away for us right now, and that’s going to be up to the powers that be. Honestly, I’m really excited for Witcher Season 4. I think it’s going to be fantastic. I can’t wait to get started. We’re not there. So right now, I just really want to keep the focus on Blood Origin and all of this amazing work.”
