Michael Keaton’s Batman Rumored to be Cut FromThe Flash

James Gunnhas said that some of the existing characters would continue in the new DCU, but that might not be the case for every DC character. And this has led to the required changes in the upcoming films of DC Studios. So far, the studio has reportedly cut Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot’s cameo fromThe Flash.

And after the new co-CEO announced the new DCU slate, the entertainment scooper Grace Randolph revealed that James Gunn has also“stripped out”Michael Keaton’sBatman and Sasha Calle’s Supergirl cameo from the film. The scooper claimed that the studio is filming a new ending with a character“from a long time ago.”

The news came as a shock for fans who have been looking forward to Keaton’s comeback as Batman in the 2022 film. Fans started calling out theSuicide Squaddirector and even threatened to boycott the upcoming film.

Although the studio has not released any official information regarding the changes made inThe Flash, DC fans on the internet have already started planning to boycott the Ezra Miller starrer. While some are waiting for the release of the film or any future update from the studio, others are not so patient.

As the rumors started about Michael Keaton’s Batman being scrapped from the film, fans started saying that they would not watch the upcoming DC film. However, some fans defended the co-CEO saying that the studio has not scrappedThe Founderstar’s part but has possibly altered the ending ofThe Flash.

They have supported the idea that Michael Keaton is still in the film. They even claimed that removing Keaton fromThe Flashwould not make sense as it explores the concept of the multiverse in the DCU.
