Ant-Man, a beloved character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has captured the hearts of audiences with his unique and intriguing storyline. But apparently, the character has failed to impress one Andrew Tate. Played by talented actor Paul Rudd, Ant-Man brings a refreshing and comedic touch to the superhero genre. Throughout his journey in the MCU, Ant-Man has experienced a significant transformation and a shift in importance.

Paul Rudd as Ant-Man

Rudd’s Ant-Man made his MCU debut through his solo stand-alone film. His successive popularity resulted in the third installment of the Ant-Man series being released a few months back, but unfortunately, the movie failed to impress the audience. Now Andrew Tate, the renowned figure, has made his dislike for the superhero public.

Andrew Tate Is Under House Arrest

Andrew Tatehas made a name for himself across different domains. From his successful career as a professional kickboxer to his ventures as a business entrepreneur and social media influencer. The former kickboxing champion and reality TV personality has been at the center of heated debates and public scrutiny due to his controversial misogynist statements. His provocative and often inflammatory remarks have led to bans and suspensions from various platforms like Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and much more.

Tate’s controversial profile doesn’t end there and now has a new addition of human trafficking. He and his brother Tristan were arrested in Romania along with two women, on charges of human trafficking and forming a criminal organization. On March 31 all four were shifted to house arrest, as the investigation for the same continues.

Andrew Tate On Ant-Man Movies

It looks like the house arrest is not sufficient enough to stop the former kickboxer from sharing his critical opinions publicly. And this time Tate decided to target the blockbuster MCU franchise by calling out the superhero film series of Ant-Man.Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniais currently ranked as no. 2 on Apple TV and it seems like this very fact was not received well by Andrew Tate. He decided to bash the movie by his very name, without even watching the movie, calling it a useless character than Spider-Man

“The second most watched movie is Ant-Man. Wooh! What the fck is Ant-Man. I have already discussed Spider-man at length. I am genuinely, maybe I have spent too long in fcking jail, I didn’t know there was an Ant-Man. How lazy do you have to be as a superhero creator to sit and look at Spider-Man and go, ‘Hm (laughs) what’s weaker and sh*tter than Spider-Man, Ant-Man.’ And his backup is no. 2 called the Wasp. This can’t be real, this can’t be a movie. Why is it number 2? Who is watching this?”

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

Tate continued by trying to predict the plot of the movie and questioned the movie’s no. 2 rank.

“Ant-Man, I’ve never seen Ant-Man. Let me guess the plot: a man with some characteristics of an Ant and his sidekick, the Wasp, who can fly and open up a battle against the spray, and they will win. I don’t even have to watch that movie to know it is a sh*t. And the worst thing is it’s number 2, people are paying for this with money. They are paying for this voluntarily, watching this with their own time.”

Lastly, the former kickboxer champion compared today’s film with past movies, where the kids at that time would watch action stars likeSteven Seagal. But now all that is left for today’s generation is Ant-Man, who as per him, fails to give viewers any true inspiration.

“Ant-man is fcking attacking their mind. Don’t you understand that this is beyond how trash Ant-Man is? This is a larger psyop on your human psyche. In the 1980s we grew up and we wanted to be Steven Seagal. We want to walk in the bars and go, ‘Hey don’t talk to that girl, leave her alone.’ Destroy all the men in the bar and that’s fine but now these kids are going up and they want to be what Ant, they want to be Ant, like your cousin Luke (mimicking Ant). That’s it, that’s everyone’s fcking aspiration Ant-Man. Steven Seagal wouldn’t play fcking Ant-Man, where are the action heroes, who the fck play Ant-Man, I am p*ssed.”

It goes without saying that Andrew Tate has interpreted the storyline of the movie falsely. But his very comments have ignited the discussion on over-exploitation of the superhero genre, which is resulting in degraded quality of movies. Even those who follow the MCU and Ant-Man storyline would have to agree that the recently released movie could have been better by many folds.
