While many fans agree with the fact that Gohan can now defeat his father, others think that it was a publicity stunt by Toriyama to promote the movie. Goku has trained all his life. He currently trains with the Gods. On the other hand, Gohan left all of his training after the fight with Majin Buu. When Frieza came to Earth inDragon Ball Super, Gohan was quite weak. So, a sudden burst of energy and a new transformation might not be enough to defeat Goku.
Gohan had a hard time with Cell Max. After his transformation, he withstood every blow and defeated Cell Max without breaking a sweat. After Super Saiyan 2 and Mystic Gohan, this is Gohan’s first transformation, while Goku underwent several transformations. Gohan Has A New Transformation InDragon Ball Super: Super HeroMovie
Dragon Ball Super: Super Heromovie was one of the biggest anime movies of 2022. After breaking records in Japan, the movie was released in the USA. On the opening weekend, the movie sold almost 500,000 tickets. It was a breath of fresh air since it was the first in a long time that the focus shifted to Gohan and Piccolo instead of Goku and Vegeta.

The movie features Cell Max as the main villain. Gohan and Piccolo were overwhelmed by his immense power. But things changed when Cell Max killed Piccolo. Seeing this, Gohan went into a rage mode. He transforms into Beast Gohan. Due to Old Kai unlocking his true potential using his Unlock Ability, Gohan was able to awaken the beast within him. This beast unlocking was confirmed byAkira Toriyama.
Beast Gohan, also known as Final Gohan, has greyish-white spiky hair (typical Super Saiyan hairstyle), with one bang falling over his face. He is surrounded by an aura of white, pink, purple, and blue. While transforming, his pupil vanished, and his eyes flashed. Final Gohan has a red iris and black pupils. He has a serious yet confident face, just like his face during his fight against Perfect Cell inDragon Ball Z.
Can Gohan Defeat Goku With The New Transformation?
Saiyans transform only when they are in a fit of rage. The rage inside Gohan pushed him to his limits and maxed out his potential. After the new transformation, many are arguing that this might be the strongest form in the Dragon Ball franchise. The creator ofDragon Ball,Akira Toriyama, confirmed that Gohan’s Beast mode is currently the strongest. Even Piccolo admitted that this was the strongest transformation while the transformation was still ongoing.
