Johnny Depp, who almost became Wolverine, is one of the most iconic actors in all of Hollywood. Johnny Depp nearly established himself as a 2000s Ghost Rider. It was not that the actor got replaced or he dropped out of the movie. The production was only just beginning and things were looking rather positive for Depp to take on the iconic role when the movie itself fell apart. Although the reason for the same had not directly been revealed, many came to believe that tight schedules became the fatal flaw of a movie many had been greatly anticipating.
Johnny Depp’s interest in superheroes came through years of exploration. One character that caught his eye was the iconic mutant Namor. Making his debut inBlack Panther: Wakanda Forever,the character received great love having been played by Tenoch Huerta. It was not that he was offered the role of the character but more so that he wanted to play the anti-hero. Although he never got to play the character, if the opportunity had presented itself, Depp would have been the first one to jump for it.

Back in 1997, Universal Studios had been eyeing to make a movie about the Hulk much before Edward Norton and Mark Ruffalo took over the role. The film was going to star Johnny Depp, more so he was envisioned to play the character. According to the description provided byCracked, it can be easily said that the actor dodged a big bullet.
