Scarlett Johansson Said She’d Never Date These Kind of Men
Scarlett Johansson is happily married to American comedianColin Jostnow but in the past, she had experienced a few bumps on the road of relationship. She has been cautious about her dates and explicitly revealed that she will never date one kind of man in her life.
“I’ve had the problem of dating a cocaine addict. It was horrible. I won’t allow myself to get involved with somebody like that again because you’re never as important as the drug. You can’t trust them, and you never know where they are. They lie. Every time they blow their nose, you’re like, hmm,”she once told Cosmopolitan.
Johansson has dated quite a few men in the past including industry prominent,Jared Leto,Sean Penn,Justin Timberlake, andKieran Culkin. The actor also walked down the aisle three times.“I mean, the first time I got married I was 23 years old,”she told Vanity Fair of getting married toDeadpoolstarRyan Reynolds.“I didn’t have an understanding of marriage. Maybe I kind of romanticized it, I think, in a way,”she added. The ex-couple parted ways in 2011. In 2014, theLucyactor got married to French journalist and art dealer Romain Dauriac, they share a daughter Rose. Following their divorce in 2017, Johansson dated Jost and got married in 2020.

Scarlett Johansson Revealed Her First Relationship
Going back in time, Johansson revealed that she got into her first relationship at the age of 14 and it was like nothing else in the world.“Fourteen,”Johansson told Cosmopolitan of the exact age of getting into her first relationship.“I fell in love with him,”she added.
“You go through puberty and feel like there’s nobody in the world who’s ever going tounderstand you. Then you meet this other person and you’re connecting with them and exploring things you’ve never explored before. You never have that again. There’s a codependence in having a boyfriend at 14. [You feel like] “I’m gonna marry you and have your children!” It was a lovely relationship.”
The 38-year-old further revealed that she has developed a good friendship with her first boyfriend, “we’re still friends,” she said. However, theAvengersactor doesn’t“ever want to feel that codependent again.”The actor also said that she did not like to discuss her personal life, perhaps because of the tabloids.“Well, it’s usually like, “She’s got atummy bulge! She’s got sagging saddlebags!”Johansson said of the celebrity tabloid coverage.“And [the body part] is circled in red and there’s an arrow pointing to it that reads “Saddlebags!”she continued adding “It’s mortifying. How can you ignore that?”
After starring inWes Anderson’smost recent flickAsteroid City, Johansson is all set to appear in Kristin Scott Thomas’North Star, scheduled for September 2023.
