However, the actress’ fame and fortune were at risk when Aniston began experiencing insomnia and sleep deprivation. The actress revealed that it had gotten so bad that it started affecting her career and health.

Jennifer Aniston Had Intense Insomnia When She Was Younger
Jennifer Anistonbecame very popular due to her performance in the legendary sitcomF.R.I.E.N.D.S. She played the role of Rachel Green, who was the fashionista of the group. Aniston’s hairstyle as Rachel became so popular that many in the 90s emulated it, leading the hairstyle to be called ‘the Rachel’.
Aniston has often been lauded for her good looks and ever-young beauty, despite being fifty-four years old. However, the actress revealed that her body started to get affected in her early 30s when she lost her sleep. Aniston mentioned that she did not seek help for it for a long time and had accepted it as normal until it got too much.

She toldPeopleMagazine about her issues with insomnia,

“You just don’t start to notice the effects of a lack of sleep when we’re younger because we’re so invincible…Then all of a sudden you realize the effects of your lack of sleep and how it affects your day and your work and your mind function and your physique.”
The actress also mentioned that thinking about her lack of sleep made it worse and she would just end up looking at the clock for hours, worrying about not getting enough sleep.

Jennifer Aniston’s Insomnia Caused Her To Sleepwalk
Earlier this year, Jennifer Aniston teamed up with the pharma company Indorsia for the ‘Seize the Day and Night’ campaign which focussed on the importance of sleep for a person’s health. Talking about the ill effects of sleep deprivation, Jennifer Aniston mentioned how she faced issues because of incomplete sleep,
“It [sleep] used to be the last thing on the list, but you can’t really abide by the three pillars of health — which are diet, exercise, and sleep — if you can’t really exercise and you can’t really eat right if you haven’t slept well because your body clock is so completely thrown off.”
The actress also mentioned that her insomnia had gotten so bad earlier that she used to sleepwalk and had been woken up by house alarms that were triggered by her movements. She said,
“I have been known to do that [sleepwalk]. I’ve been woken up by house alarms going off that I’ve set off. And I don’t think I do that anymore — that was when I was super sleep-deprived.”
Jennifer Aniston mentioned that she has since overcome her issues with sleep after seeking medical help for the same. She mentioned that she has not been sleepwalking since then.
