YouTube Premium Subscribers Can ‘Ask’ Questions to AI
YouTube videos teach us all kinds of things. You can learn anything from finance to academia and more. But sometimes, they are too complex and difficult to understand leaving you with doubts and questions.
Enter Ask. A new generational AI chatbot from Google that can answer all your questions about the video you are watching. The feature is only available to YouTube Premium users or those part of theYouTube Family plan. Also, it has been rolled out to Android users only for now but should soon be available to both iOS and web users too.
No point for guessing the Ask AI chatbot is powered by Google’s Gemini AI model. It can summarize the video for you, answer questions based on what the video was all about, expand upon the topic further, translate and transcript, and more. Ask chatbot AI will work for all videos across the platform which raises the question of data collection.
